Job Summary

Weare seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible care navigation supervisor with excellent interpersonal skills to join our fantastic teams at Derby Road and Pinewood Surgeries in Ipswich.The vacancy is offered on a part-time basis for 20.25 hours a week. The days and hours are as follows however this may be negotiable for the right candidate;Thursday 8:00-18:30 and Friday 7:45-18.30.

Duties will include;

Provide leadership to the care navigator/reception team.
Deal with any escalated queries and requests from patients or team.
Ensure scanning and filling is up to date.
Assist the practice manager with any complaints.
Manage the reception rota arranging cover for absences.
Support the induction and training of new employees.
Carry out start and end of day procedures ensure team follow procedures.

Flexibility is crucial to accommodate training holidays and occasional sickness.

We plan to hold interviews w/c 5th January 2026.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position you should be able to work calmly and professionally as part of a team with the ability to multi-task.

Youwill also have the following;

Previous healthcare experience.
Flexibility.
Range of transferable skills.
A strong command of written and spoken English.
Excellent telephone manner essential.
Good time management skills and the ability to follow protocols and or instruction and attention to detail is essential.
