Experienced NDT Quality Test Specialist (Non-Destructive Test) Level II

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Experienced NDT Quality Test Specialists to support our business in San Antonio TX.

This position is expected to be 100% selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

• General knowledge of multiple NDT methods on aircraft and related components in Magnetic Particle Penetrant Eddy Current Ultrasound and Radiography

• Analyzes routine data.

• Assists with standard corrective action recommendations.

• Documents and communicates standard test analysis or measurement results to customers through entries in quality records and/or test reports.

• Performs setup of routine test or measurement equipment.

• Performs routine tests.

• Assists in the documentation of procedures and technique sheets for setting up test equipment.

• Performs setup of test or measurement equipment to controlled standards. Assists in the documentation of procedures for test equipment setup.

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/Experience)

• Recent NDI certification in Ultrasonic and Eddy Current

• Capable of working a variable shift

• 5 years experience in NDT

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA FAA and/or Military)

• Ability to obtain a Yankee White U.S. Security Clearance post-start

• Magnetic Particle Penetrant and Radiography

• Strong understanding of NDT principles and techniques.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong ethical standards with a desire to maintain a high level of quality.

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Summary Pay Range: $75900 $96600
