| Position Summary: | UDRI is looking for a Data Science Engineer to join the SPIRE group. You will contribute to a growing team responsible for cutting-edge technology and enhancing data exploitation capabilities and effectiveness. An ideal candidate will have strong skills as a full-stack developer and with interest in AI/ML technologies. You will utilize software development coupled with frameworks and workflows for secure scalable systems to create consistent and reliable software. This position also features a focus on hardware implementation of data exploitation algorithms on low size weight and power (SWaP) hardware. This includes integrating hardware and software on to custom payloads. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | 1. Bachelors degree
2. Minimum of 8 years related work experience
3. Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen
4. Active US TOP SECRET (or higher) clearance or equivalent
5. Professional experience working within Development Security and Operations (DevSecOps) frameworks and development workflows for secure scalable systems in both unclassified and classified systems
6. Professional experience implementing algorithms on low size weight and power (SWaP) hardware such as Nvidia Jetson development boards
7. Professional experience with software and hardware integration
8. Professional experience developing software to communicate and exchange information (e.g. commands status data) with hardware devices sensors or systems
9. Effective written and verbal communication skills |
