Job Summary

Position Summary
The McCauley laboratory is seeking a research technician. The McCauley laboratory uses mouse and human stem cell models to study intestinal physiology. The primary responsibilities of this position include performing routine molecular biology and biochemistry techniques mouse husbandry tissue culture and assisting with the maintenance of laboratory reagents and equipment. This position will also assist with the preparation and maintenance of laboratory protocols inventory safety and compliance documents and standards. The ideal candidate will be looking to gain additional research lab experience prior to entering graduate school or medical school.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience with molecular biology biochemistry mammalian cell culture light microscopy and/or data analysis. Previous animal handling experience.
