Vermont Learning Collaborative and Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join us in opening the regions first partner program located at the Oak Grove School. The Program Assistant will be a key member of a dynamic team that includes a Lead Special Education Teacher BCBA Clinician and related service providers. The Program Assistant will provide day to day support to the Lead Special Education Teacher and direct services to students in the program. Candidates for this position will be responsible for following positive behavior support plans written by a BCBA to support students behaviorally socially and emotionally as well as provide academic support in classroom settings when needed. Applicants with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential applicants for this position will have two years of college level education preferably in the area of elementary education or pass the ParaPro assessment. Candidates should have an ability to support behavioral and social skill development in a general education environment and strong communication problem solving and collaborative skills. Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis in a school or home setting is preferred.
