JOB SUMMARY

The Pediatric Registered Nurse provides quality patient care to patient group ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old. Functions with a focus on patient safety and customer service. Conducts patient assessment participates plan of care implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or development needs. Works in a mix-unit flexible to be cross trained and take medical surgical patient assignment as well.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING

Required Experience: 1 years of pediatric experience required

Graduate of approved nursing program certificate.

Current California RN license
Current PALS BCLS ACLS NIHS Stroke Cert. (AHA)
Medical/Surgical experience preferred Proficiency in both written and oral English Required Education:
