Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customerfocused Assistant Reservation Manager to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our reservations department you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations optimizing inventory and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the reservations department
  • Collaborate with Sales Revenue Management and Marketing teams to develop and implement new packages and rates
  • Oversee the training and development of Reservation Agents
  • Monitor and balance guestroom inventory addressing capacity challenges and finding solutions
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to reservations
  • Assist in creating and managing department incentive programs
  • Support the scheduling and payroll processes for the reservations team
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of reservations staff
  • Analyze sales reports and provide insights to optimize reservation strategies
  • Stay updated on local tourism trends and adjust reservation strategies accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications :

  • Previous leadership experience in a hotel environment preferably in reservations
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS)
  • Familiarity with Central Reservation Systems (CRS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel
  • Detailoriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles
  • Familiarity with local tourism and hospitality trends in Jeddah Saudi Arabia
  • High School diploma required; Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
