Role Overview:
CheckAlt is looking for a hands-on Information Security leader to scale and strengthen our enterprise security program. This role will focus on day-to-day security operations product and treasury security and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the CISO youll work closely with engineering IT team risk and operations teams to embed security across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day information security operations including incident response vulnerability management product/application security and third-party risk.
- Oversee penetration testing and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Implement Shift Left security practices in product development and cloud deployment (AWS VMware).
- Configure and manage security products (Sentinel One Harmony) SIEM tools and databases (Postgres).
- Support regulatory compliance audits and attestations (ACH PCI SOC2 SOX OCC FedLine).
- Collaborate with leadership to embed security into business and technology initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 1015 years of Information Security experience with leadership in financial services fintech or regulated industries.
- Hands-on technical expertise: MCSE VCP VMware AWS vulnerability remediation security product deployment and program/database management.
- Strong knowledge of governance risk and compliance frameworks (NIST ISO 27001 SOC GDPR NYDFS).
- Understanding of treasury product security (ACH wire lockbox RDC FedLine) preferred.
- Certifications: CISSP CISM PMP required; AWS Certification & CCSP a plus.
