Job Summary/Description:
WHSV is hiring a Senior Sales Assistant. This job entails working closely with our Director of Sales Digital Sales Manager and media executives as well as supporting the General Manager as needed. This is a senior-level position that requires multitasking attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Director of Sales and the management team in the entry and maintenance of orders
- Preparation of detailed reports for station management and clients
- Daily maintenance of inventory/programming changes
- Working with the sales team and clients on billing/invoicing/aging
- Assisting the Director of Sales with planning/organization of special projects
- Supporting the local sales team as necessary
- Serves as a backup for log reconciliation (broadcast and digital)
- Assists General Manager as needed with office-related duties
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college or technical degree preferred)
- Careful attention to detail; accuracy is critical
- Ability to work on (and prioritize) multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
