Job Title: Rental Agent
Summary:
Rental Agent is responsible for optimizing the rental experience based on the customers needs drafting rental agreements and providing exceptional customer service. As a Rental Agent you are entrusted with educating our customers on their options and serving them with the highest level of respect professionalism and friendliness. You will be expected to become the expert on our fleet and ancillary products and enhance the customers experience by providing expert recommendations. We strive to meet our customers needs and exceed their expectations on every opportunity.
Requirements:
- Prepares proper documentation enabling customers to drive loaner car vehicle (ie. Driver license credit card information insurance return date proper signatures)
- Utilize TSD rental application to maintain fleet organization and customer info.
- Answer the phones to assist customers in a friendly helpful and prompt manner.
- Maintain organization over Loaner Vehicle Inventory
- Inspects vehicles upon return and document and/or report damages
- Collects outstanding balances for damages and violations relating to customers usage of the vehicles
- Checking mileage and inspecting for damage when vehicles are returned.
- Greet customers professionally and prepare the rental agreement
- Explain terms of rental agreements.
- Showing customers to their vehicles to point out damage on vehicle before renting.
- Advise as an expert on all vehicles in the fleet all protection items and all extras
- Make expert recommendations and present every product to every customer every time
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and confidence
- Complete daily lists and report to the Supervisor and Manager
- Handle all telephone and email inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Meet all sales and service standards
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness (wash and vacuum) as needed
- Create and process rental agreements

- Demonstrated attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently manage and prioritize multiple projects be a team player and self-motivated and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Be flexible and able to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Must be Internet savvy have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent follow through and follow up skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to work on an On-site dealership environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation mandatory.
- Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
- Authorized to work in the United States
