Role Overview:

As the Digital Marketing Technology & AI Operations Lead you will be a key driver in shaping our marketing technology stack and its AI-powered future. This is a dual-focused role that requires both a strategic mindset to identify and deploy high-impact AI solutions as well as a hands-on technical skillset to build maintain and optimize our core digital marketing platforms. You will collaborate with business leaders and developers to transform marketing operations ensuring our web assets are robust and our AI initiatives are effectively deployed governed and measured for success.

AI & Strategic Leadership

  • Collaborate with marketing leaders to identify prioritize and develop business cases for AI use cases across the customer lifecycle (e.g. personalization predictive analytics generative content).

  • Partner with central IT to evaluate pilot and recommend AI platforms and tools leading vendor evaluations and technical solution architecture decisions.

  • Drive the full deployment lifecycle of AI initiatives from model integration to campaign activation and performance optimization.

  • Promote AI adoption across the marketing organization through training best practices and playbooks.

  • Ensure all AI deployments comply with internal governance ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish KPIs and measurements frameworks for AI initiatives to quantify business impact

  • Partner with data science teams to ensure data pipelines are properly structured and accessible for AI model training and deployment

  • Lead cross functional groups to align AI and marketing tech initiatives with enterprise wide digital transformation strategies

Web Development & DevOps

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end web pages and components using HTML CSS (SCSS) JavaScript and TypeScript.

  • Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes for marketing assets.

  • Manage shared code repositories on platforms like GitHub and Azure.

  • Build and maintain key marketing-focused JavaScript libraries for tracking form handling and A/B testing (e.g. UTM tracking form handler integrations VWO).

  • Collaborate with the team to address and mitigate cybersecurity issues on web properties.

Operations & Maintenance

  • Ensure the smooth operation continuous improvement and robust performance of digital marketing platforms and web assets.

  • Set up monitoring and alerting (e.g. Splunk Synthetic Monitoring) to proactively identify issues.

  • Perform regular website maintenance including content updates bug fixes and performance optimization.

  • Assist with technical projects such as SSL certificate renewals and DNS configurations.

  • Use data analysis skills to investigate website traffic trends and campaign performance providing insights to the team.

  • Champion data privacy and security practices across all AI platforms and programs

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 610 years of experience in marketing technology digital transformation web development or a related field preferably in a high-velocity B2B or fintech environment.

  • Proven track record of leading AI-enabled marketing programs from ideation to scale.

  • Demonstrated experience in front-end development (HTML CSS JavaScript) and a solid understanding of back-end technologies (e.g. Python).

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps principles including CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud infrastructure (e.g. Microsoft Azure Amazon AWS).

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and their application in marketing.

  • Excellent stakeholder management communication and project/change management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with generative AI NLP and MLOps pipelines.

  • Knowledge of AI governance ethical AI frameworks and compliance in regulated industries.

  • Prior experience scaling marketing technology and AI across global organizations.

  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with a strong understanding of data structures and the role of system data in marketing activation and analytics.

  • Experience operationalizing responsible AI practices including bias detection and explainability in marketing contexts.
