Essential Job Functions:
Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.
Assist in implementing security policies and standards collaborating with the security team.
Monitor security events and incidents escalating and documenting as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
Aid in compliance eorts assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date.
Contribute to incident response activities participating in investigations and reporting.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.
Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 6 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Proven experience in information security
Proficiencies in risk management compliance and security technologies
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
