$7.5k Sign-on Bonus
Coverage areas: Mineral Partlow Ruther Glen Beaverdam and surrounding areas
Office location: Fredericksburg VA
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday

Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physicians plan of care
- Direct and aid patient in active and passive therapeutic exercises muscle reeducation gait and functional training transfer activities and prosthetic training
- Utilize physical agents including heat cold water light electricity ultrasound and massage
- Instruct in use of wheelchairs braces crutches canes and prosthetic or orthotic devices
- Observe and report to the physical therapist the patients reaction to treatment and any changes in condition
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the CAPTE with current licensure to practice in state of operation
- 1 year PTA experience
- Home health experience preferred
- Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
