JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Responsibilities: ()
Define the Quality Objectives Roadmap and obtain Business Unit Advanced Quality Director approval of targets. Lead a cross-functional team within the SDT to ensure that the objectives are met.
Develop the Prototype Pre-production and Production Control Plans.
Develop the Measurement System Analysis Plan for the program. Responsible to ensure that Gage studies (R&R Bias Linearity and Stability) are conducted on all gaging used on the program and that appropriate corrective actions are taken to improve Gage R&R > where data indicates.
Responsible for implementation of the Manufacturing Quality Systems for the prototype and pre-production builds (e.g. Incoming > Inspection Instructions Containment Instructions etc.) as defined in BOS and/or specified on the Product Control Plan.
Responsible for completion of the inspection reports for completed seat that are produced for the prototype and pre-production including start first mass production builds.
Perform capability studies and document the results for all program special characteristics and ensure that Customer and internal requirements are met (or a written Customer deviation is obtained).
Responsible for the color/appearance/seat approval process including proper Customer submission paperwork by either performing the required activities directly or coordinating the completion of these activities.
Responsible to coordinate the preparation and on-time delivery of PPAP packages for submission and approval by the Customer. Including: Control Plans Inspection STD Capability Plans Capability Studies Part layouts Gage design Gage R&R PFMEA DFMEA (if applicable).
Utilize all applicable Customer-specific systems (e.g. DaimlerChrysler PRISM GM PRR Ford WERS).
Ensure that appropriate statistical methods are utilized throughout the Product and Process Development process and deployed into the Control Plan.
Responsible for completion of all other Customer-specific Advanced Quality Planning requirements.
Responsible to assist quality concern point to other SDT members to assure all SDT deliverables are met on time to the appropriate level of detail.
Responsible in engineering change PPAP packages submission and approval by customer meet in time line.
Support to raise deviation (/ SREA/4M change/IPP) and discuss with customer when new program or engineering change needed to support program smoothly.
Manage quality portion /quality task to deliver performance complete per program time line and drive team to achieve personal goal to improve team forward.
Manage customer under critical situation during launch phase/engineering change phase.
Mange the issue when launch phase at customer plant make sure the issue come from seat issue.
Interim corrective action was implemented on real time to achieve customer time line
Analyze root cause by use problem solving step per Adient standard and apply to customer standard /format requirement
Leading with SDT team for problem solving to find Corrective action and close issue
Coordinate between Adient internal and customer to align same direction for understanding AIMs issue status.
Submit AIMs for customer review and approval.
Summary problem issue list on tracking file with corrective action in place and update bi weekly report send to quality manager.
Manage customer under critical situation.

Immediate action once safety issue present in workplace correcting unsafe condition promptly.
Voluntary to join Safety meeting to be BBSO program and participated in high risk activitiesSafety audit in the work place by checklist.
To involve & engage in Safety Activity and initiative :JCMSCCRMsafety week 5S HSE trainingwear proper PPE.
Review all change : process lay out new material before implement new machine.
Qualifications (Education Skills and Experiences)
Education: A Bachelors Degree is (or equivalent experience). If masters degree will get more consider.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience working in a manufacturing environment with at least one year in the position of Quality Engineer/Advance Quality Engineer. Ideally this should have been with a multinational company. Computers and standard business software (Microsoft Office as an example).
Qualities: A person who can organize data logically and also work at shop floor level and also communicate professionally to senior management in English.
Specific education and training in Quality disciplines is including (minimum): IATF16949 Continuous Improvement Total Quality Management PPAP FMEA Control Plans DOE and SPC.
Leadership / Management experience in or outside of Johnson Controls.
Candidates must demonstrate solid skills in communication interpersonal relations and ability to inspire individuals or team to improve performance.
BOS auditor training is preferred.
Candidates may have these requirements waived only by the Advanced Quality Manager (or equivalent).
(Mechanical or electrical) or country equivalent. Training in the tools of quality: Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) Statistical Process Control (SPC) Design of Experiments (DOE) Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Quality Operating Systems (QOS) and Internal Quality Auditing.
Understand and knowledgeable of GD&T tolerance system
Understand and knowledgeable of IMDS material system
Knowledgeable of customer requirement and gages concept for approval
