Description
As a Non-CDL Driver you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of products & goods while adhering to all food safety and DOT regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a non-CDL delivery truck to transport goods to various locations
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and per any customer requirements.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of delivered goods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all DOT regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
- Communicate effectively with customers and members of company dispatch team to ensure a smooth delivery process
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain Medical DOT card.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and guidelines preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
