QUALIFICATIONS:
- Program leadership experience
- Early College and/or CTE program development experience
- Curriculum development and alignment experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university
- Five years of successful teaching experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Partnership experience
- Grant-writing and reporting experience
- Development and fundraising experience
- Urban high school experience
- Advanced Placement/advanced coursework experience
- Supervisory experience/willingness to be trained in supervision
- Massachusetts educational administrators license
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role is to persistently work on closing opportunity gaps for secondary school students. Responsibilities include continual development and growth in the following areas:
- Build strategic secondary school educational partnerships.
- Assist in leading administrating and developing all early college programs.
- Provide leadership as the district liaison for Early College partners and secondary schools.
- Provide leadership as a district administrator for Early College in relation to new schools and academies.
- Lead and organize Lynn Early College Steering Committee and coordinate activities initiatives and subcommittees.
- Responsible for reporting of required designation information to Department of Elementary and Secondary Education(DESE).
- Assist in developing and coordinating curriculum teams comprised of multiple stakeholders to align instruction for early college pathways and post-secondary college and career readiness.
- Support secondary school re-design collaborations toinclude:educational college and career pathways; rigorous project-based learning; interdisciplinary learning; and expansion of advanced course work opportunities.
- Support increased opportunities for career learning through development of Career Vocational and Technical Education (CTE) pathways job shadows and internships.
- Provide district leadership and support for related secondary school grant writing and programmatic grant management.
- Act as district representative and grant liaison for secondary school donor funded opportunities and programs.
- Prepare and/or assist in writing grant mandated interim and final reports.
- Write grants as assigned by the department of Innovation and Grants Management.
- Provide district support for the implementation ofMyCAP.
- Aim to increase retention through the lens of engaging coursework defined pathways and strategic partnerships.
- Partner and support school leaders for related secondary school projects.
- Assist in supervising support staff for early college designations Early College Promise and new academies and schools
- Assist in district oversight of the budgets for Early College designations and Early College Promise.
- Research monitor and review quantitative and qualitative data to improve the quality of programs under the supervision of this position.
- Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent/Deputy Superintendents/Executive Director of Innovations and Grants Management.

SALARY: $117524
