Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant serves as the focal point of contact for all communication coordination event planning logistical support procurement travel and expense management for the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment Program Management Excellence (PMX) organization.
Essential Functions:
- Provide administrative support to the entire US-based SAS PMX organization
- Arrangement of travel and processing of expense reports
- Execute conference planning and executive meeting organization
- Process overtime requests for team members
- General support to the six (6) staff leaders and their teams
- Facilities / cubicle / office management
- Coordination with suppliers subcontractors consultants and other third parties
- Collaboration with other functional sector and division administrative professionals
- Support to coordination and execution of training offerings billings and other administrative tasks in support of the Program Leadership Team (PLT) Certification Program
- Support of special projects as required
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Possess excellent communication skills quality commitment customer focus strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrates initiative and teamwork.
- Work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize multi-task and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Ability to effectively and positively interact with all levels of employees and management
- General business and operational analysis experience
- General usage of SharePoint / SharePoint Administration
- Ariba Concur SuccessFactors and other L3Harris business systems experience
