This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room of a Level 1 Trauma Center. The RN will provide skilled nursing care circulating and scrubbing during surgical procedures and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The position requires a minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in an OR setting including experience in various surgical specialties. The RN will be expected to float within the facility as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care during surgical procedures.
- Scrubbing and circulating in the operating room.
- Collaborating with surgeons anesthesiologists and other members of the surgical team.
- Patient assessment and monitoring.
- Medication administration and documentation.
- Maintaining a sterile surgical field.
- Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies.
- Assisting with post-operative care.
- Floating to other areas of the facility as needed.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Scrubbing and circulating in the operating room.
- Collaborating with surgeons anesthesiologists and other members of the surgical team.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in an operating room setting.
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Strong scrub and circulate skills.
- Experience in Ortho Ortho Trauma Vascular Urology and General Surgery.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in an operating room setting.
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

- Experience in Ortho Ortho Trauma Vascular Urology and General Surgery.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in Neurosurgery (crani and spine) Open Heart/Thoracic Ophthalmology ENT Bariatric and Gynecology.
Special Considerations:
- Mandatory float pool participation within the facility.
- On-call requirement: One 12-hour shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per month).
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) with no more than 2 consecutive days. No RTO on weekends holidays or the day before/after a holiday.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
- On-call requirement: One 12-hour shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per month).
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) with no more than 2 consecutive days. No RTO on weekends holidays or the day before/after a holiday.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
Scheduling:
- 5 eight-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM).
- No block scheduling.
