Job Summary
For our customer an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Perform experiments document your work accurately and verify results
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration on critical instrumentation
- Perform routine analytical measurements (HPLC Filtration)
- Prepare buffers for experiments
- Manually operate complex filtration systems
- Operate automated processes including process monitoring
Qualifications :
- Lab technician education (EFZ Biology/ Chemistry) or bachelors degree in Biochemistry Biotechnology Biology (or equivalent institution of higher education) in a relevant field. Experience in the chemical pharmaceutical or food industry is also valued
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a team as well as semi-autonomously; establish priorities and proceed with objectives according to the teams goals
- Think outside of the box to find solutions to problems
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Language proficiency: Fluent in German and English
