We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of CISO - CIB Equities and Securities Financing (7568) and 0000LNG1.
Role Purpose:
The CISO CIB Equities and Securities Financing is responsible for leading and continuously enhancing a best-in-class cybersecurity capability across assigned Global Businesses/Global Infrastructures (GBGIs) and applicable jurisdictions. This role ensures the effective translation of technical cybersecurity concepts into actionable strategies manages risk within the firms risk appetite and drives a security-first culture across the business. The CISO also represents the GBGI to senior executives regulators and governance forums.

In this role you will:
Define and execute cybersecurity strategy for assigned GBGIs in alignment with global standards.
Lead mentor and develop a high-performing diverse cybersecurity team.
Act as primary point of contact for cybersecurity risk reporting to Boards Committees and regulators.
Implement and maintain best-practice cybersecurity controls governance frameworks and standards.
Oversee incident response risk mitigation and remediation efforts.
Engage senior executives (CEOs COOs CIOs) to embed cybersecurity-first practices aligned with business risk appetite.
Represent GBGI in industry forums to influence best practices and regulatory standards.
Drive continuous assessment and improvement of cybersecurity posture across all operations.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Deep knowledge of controls threat management incident response and frameworks (e.g. NIST).
Proven ability to lead large diverse teams and influence senior stakeholders.
Experience delivering global cybersecurity programs in complex organizations.
Strong experience to translate technical risk into actionable business insights.
Identify assess and mitigate cyber and information risks experience
Experience to implement and embed governance and operational controls effectively.
Strong understanding of financial services regulations and market operations.
This role is based in Sheffield Grosvenor House Hybrid.
