RN Telemetry ACT: Advance Cardiac Therapy

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days 7a-7p every other weekend (Fri &Sat) no call option for block scheduling. Holidays required.

GH: 72 Bi-weekly

Certifications required: ACLS / BLS REQUIRED

Ratio: 1:4 or 1:5 but no more than 1:6

RTO: maximum 1 week.

Scope of role: Advanced Cardiac Therapy Unit. Primary patient populations are Heart Failure patients or patients with cardiac primary diagnosis (NSTEM STEMI s/p Watchman or Cath Procedures New onset A-fib A-fib w/ RVR). Manage cardiac drips (Amiodarone Cardizem Milrinone Dobutamine Heparin) and IV pushes of Metoprolol Lopressor Digoxin Cardizem etc). MS/Tele patients with cardiac history.

Preferred experience/skills: Telemetry Knowledge (Rhythm Interpretation)

Years of experience required: 1-2 years MS/Tele experience
