Job Summary
- Pay: 13.97 per hour plus nights premium (where applicable)
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: 42 per week
- Schedule: 12 hour shifts including days nights and weekends
- Location: Stadium 2 South ElmsallWF9 2XS
Working in a fast paced ever changing Distribution Warehouse with the leading technologies in warehousing and logistics our Maintenance Assistants will work alongside a team of apprentice trained engineers maintaining state of the art systems to ensure a smooth flow through the Warehouse.
About the Role:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Engineers and Site Maintenance Managers on repairs and breakdowns.
- Follow Health & Safety requirements at all times
- Use the correct PPE provided when carrying out tasks
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and clear blockages and jams
- Cleaning of all equipment following approved company methods
- Carry out routine tasks on ancillary equipment and monitor system performance
- Complete paperwork and hand to Site Maintenance Engineer.
About You:
- Have the ability to prioritise and manage own workload with excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Be a real team player with a proven ability to take ownership for tasks and situations
- Have a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work flexibly
- Experience working in an automated warehouse would be an advantage
- Willingness to follow instructions
- Computer literate
