Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties: 65% of time

• Faculty attending for in-patient ward teams - 2 to 3 blocks per year

• Teaching physical diagnosis for residents and/or students/clinical skills at the bedside

• Teaching and mentoring residents and/or students in the practice of internal medicine

• Participating in core curriculum conferences morning report student teaching rounds and other departmental teaching conferences as needed

• Participating on Mercer committees as needed

• Other administrative duties as assigned by department chairman/PD/Dean

Teaching (Didactic) Duties: 35% of time

• Participating/leading PBL

Qualifications:

• M.D. degree

• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine

• Georgia medical license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Georgia
