- Partner with recruiters to understand position requirements skills and experience needed for logistics-related roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Research and identify potential candidates through online databases social media platforms (LinkedIn Indeed etc.) industry job boards and logistics networking groups.
- Source candidates with utilizing search engines career sites recruiting events and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
- Directly contact candidates via phone email and messaging platforms to introduce job opportunities and assess qualifications.
- Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing on job boards social media networking and direct outreach for warehouse transportation freight and supply chain positions.
- Screen candidates for basic logistics skills work experience and interest before passing them to recruiters.
- Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated with accurate candidate records and sourcing activity.
- Track sourcing progress outreach response rates and provide regular updates to the recruiting team.
- Support employer branding efforts in the logistics community by attending industry events job fairs and networking activities.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to improve sourcing strategies and candidate engagement.
- Perform other recruiting support tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree required
- 2 years of experience in recruiting sourcing or talent acquisition
- Experience or knowledge of the logistics warehouse transportation or supply chain industry preferred.
- Strong research skills and ability to use sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter Indeed Resume Search etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple searches at once.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
- Positive proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- May require occasional travel for logistics industry job fairs or recruiting events.
