Job Summary

  • Partner with recruiters to understand position requirements skills and experience needed for logistics-related roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Research and identify potential candidates through online databases social media platforms (LinkedIn Indeed etc.) industry job boards and logistics networking groups.
  • Source candidates with utilizing search engines career sites recruiting events and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
  • Directly contact candidates via phone email and messaging platforms to introduce job opportunities and assess qualifications.
  • Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing on job boards social media networking and direct outreach for warehouse transportation freight and supply chain positions.
  • Screen candidates for basic logistics skills work experience and interest before passing them to recruiters.
  • Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated with accurate candidate records and sourcing activity.
  • Track sourcing progress outreach response rates and provide regular updates to the recruiting team.
  • Support employer branding efforts in the logistics community by attending industry events job fairs and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to improve sourcing strategies and candidate engagement.
  • Perform other recruiting support tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2 years of experience in recruiting sourcing or talent acquisition
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics warehouse transportation or supply chain industry preferred.
  • Strong research skills and ability to use sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter Indeed Resume Search etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple searches at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
  • Positive proactive and team-oriented mindset.
  • May require occasional travel for logistics industry job fairs or recruiting events.
