- Train staff in positive behavior supports and proactive approaches to behavior management.
- Analyze data revise intervention plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Serve as an advocate for students and provide research-based interventions.
- Attend behavior-related meetings trainings and conferences.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed by the Principals.
Qualifications: - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with coursework and experience in Special Education Applied Behavior Analysis Behavioral Science or a related field.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience working in a behavior modification program with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge and experience with applied behavior analysis.
- Detailed knowledge of the basic needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis supervision and consultation.
- Effective communication skills with staff and consumers.
- Collaborative work approach within interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to provide feedback maintain confidentiality and establish positive relationships.
- Physical capability to perform activities like lifting and supporting adults.
- Adherence to professional standards and policies.
