About the Role
As Nursing Director/Manager you ll provide essential leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) overseeing all nursing and designated patient care functions within our hospital organization. You ll play a pivotal role in assessing planning coordinating and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units ensuring the highest standards of patient care staff competency and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to the CNO ensuring excellence in nursing and patient care services.
- Assist in assessing planning coordinating implementing and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level.
- Assume 24/7 responsibility for the Director s assigned areas.
- Ensure high-quality safe and appropriate nursing care and staff competency.
- Manage resources efficiently and support clinical staff development.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.

Qualifications: - Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. - Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. - Proven leadership and hospital operational ability. - Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for professional nursing. Education: - Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor s degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSN. - Preferred: MSN or master s in a healthcare-related field. Experience: - Required: Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse (or related position). Certifications: - Required: Current RN licensed, BLS certification.
