Job Description Summary
Lead the introduction of new manufacturing processes for ultrasonic transducers newly and uniquely developed in GE Healthcare.
Deeply understand the principles of semiconductor wafer process equipment newly introduced into our manufacturing process and optimize parameters necessary for quality control.
Design processes that flexibly respond to manufacturability productivity and factory equipment conditions.
Define and verify quantitative evaluation items for the designed manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with multiple global sites (France USA Austria Norway China India etc.) to execute tasks with a focus on close communication (primarily in English) with R&D sites and the transfer of manufacturing processes.
Include resource and schedule coordination and management tasks for related new product development projects.

Job Description
Detailed Responsibilities:
Lead the transfer of new manufacturing processes developed by overseas R&D teams for next-generation platforms of ultrasonic probe transducer manufacturing to the Hino factory in Japan. Understand the principles of semiconductor wafer process equipment such as grinders sputtering equipment and pick-and-place machines which are being introduced for the first time at the Hino factory and identify and optimize parameters necessary for quality control. Accurately understand the design philosophy and achievement goals defined by the R&D team while proposing manufacturing lines that consider the infrastructure manufacturability and productivity of the Hino factory in collaboration with the manufacturing engineering team. Plan and execute evaluation plans necessary resources and schedules for new manufacturing lines. The evaluation plan includes the design and launch of in-process inspection equipment (electrical inspection acoustic inspection safety standard inspection). In addition to the introduction of the new manufacturing platform mentioned above also handle the resolution of in-process quality and market quality issues caused by existing product manufacturing processes according to business priorities.
