The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity is looking to hire a Northern Illinois Workforce Regional Manager for the Office of Employment and Training to build strong partnerships with workforce education and economic development partners to meet the evolving workforce needs in Northern Illinois. This position manages a team of subject matter experts that provide rapid response and layoff aversion services to support workers and employers that are impacted by layoffs and business closures. The Northern Illinois Workforce Regional Manager also designs and implements workforce development strategies that align with the regional workforce education and economic development goals address workers skill gaps and provide career pathways for workers.
