Job Description
Coordinate responses to cyber incidents affecting data and systems collaborating with IT legal and communications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Leading the investigation containment recovery and remediation of cybersecurity incidents. Coordinating with internal and external collaborators to ensure a timely and effective response.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact during incidents ensuring clear and consistent communication with all relevant parties including senior leadership legal and corporate communications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incidents including timelines actions taken and lessons learned. Ensure all incident documentation is complete and accurate.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct periodic incident response scenario exercises to raise awareness of current threats and risks. Provide training to incident response personnel on their roles and responsibilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and update the Incident Response Plan (IRP) regularly to keep it current with business needs and technology changes. Identify and implement improvements based on post-incident reviews and lessons learned.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate Incident Response Team (CIRT) and other collaborators to ensure a coordinated response to incidents. Engage with law enforcement and external providers as necessary.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Information Security Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in incident response or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response processes.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
- Experience with incident response tools and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC.
- Experience working in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to incident response.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $91700.00$137525.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
