Lead key ministry tech processes ensure data integrity in Rock RMS and related systems and provide timely tech support all to help connect people to their next discipleship step.
JOB DUTIES
DATA ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain data integrity by consistent review of people and groups with established best practices.
- Monitor and maintain workflows registrations and communications.
- Train and support staff in using our management systems effectively including onboarding and other training.
- Direct and coordinate with outside partners (e.g. DTS) to drive ministry initiatives support platform health and effectiveness and execute projects.
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
- Provide support for staff tech needs including computers printers phones basic networking and user accounts.
- Set up and deploy new devices including onboarding technology for new hires.
VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT SUPPORT
- Recruit train and lead an active and effective team of volunteers for data-related tasks (e.g. data cleanup routine record checks).
- Build and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.
- Connect staff initiatives with practical solutions to be developed.
- Monitor and prioritize incoming requests and projects.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Aligns with VRLs mission and values.
- Comfortable with both Mac and Windows environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft365
- Demonstrates technical curiosity and willingness to learn new systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with project management software preferred.
- Patient and clear communicator who enjoys helping others learn.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Knowledge of HTML CSS JS and SQL helpful.
EXPECTATIONS
- Abide in Christ and continue to grow toward Christlikeness and spiritual maturity.
- Attend VRL church services and participate in a Life Group on a regular basis.
- Attend a DNA class sign a Family Commitment Form and be in missional alignment with VRL.
- Serve in a ministry at VRL outside of your job description.
- Committed to regular generous tithing of income to God through VRL working towards generosity by participating in special offerings.
- Self-motivated and looks for additional areas to contribute.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision & maintain workflow without being asked or tasked.
- Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to adjust in work style for the benefit of the team.
- Assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned.
