Position Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedAttorney with 2-3 years of unlawful detainer experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge oflandlord-tenant disputes eviction proceedings and real estate litigation. This role requires a proactive attorney who can manage a high-volume caseload while providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle unlawful detainer cases from inception to resolution
Draft legal documents such as complaints motions and discovery requests
Represent clients in court for hearings trials and mediations
Advise property owners landlords and property managers on eviction matters
Manage negotiations and settlements effectively
Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
2-3 years of experience in unlawful detainer landlord-tenant disputes and real estate litigation
Strong knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws and eviction procedures
Excellent litigation negotiation and client communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Active membership in the California State Bar
