Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a combination of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on facility equipment physical structures and grounds. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance inspections basic repairs and vendor coordination while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA NFPA and ANSI.
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a combination of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on facility equipment physical structures and grounds. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance inspections basic repairs and vendor coordination while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA NFPA and ANSI.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on facility equipment and building infrastructure.
Conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems facility structures and grounds to identify issues and maintain compliance.
Carry out minor carpentry work and structural maintenance tasks such as repairing walls floors doors and ceilings.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs involving electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems.
Safely operate ladders and lifts for elevated maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and compliant completion of outsourced work.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as FaciliWorks to track work orders and maintenance records.
Ensure adherence to all applicable health safety and environmental regulations (OSHA NFPA EPA DOT ANSI).
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant maintenance experience or 2 years of post-secondary education (Associates degree) with 0 2 years of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of safety standards and building codes.
Ability to develop and apply job-specific knowledge and skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer use.

Working Conditions:
May require standing walking climbing ladders and lifting moderate loads.
