Touro University California (TUC) is a private graduate and undergraduate degree awarding institution with a main campus located in the greater San Francisco Bay Area city of Vallejo California and a satellite campus located Los Angeles California. Established in 1997 TUC offers its 1300 students an innovative education in one of several disciplines including osteopathic medicine pharmacy physician assistant studies nursing public health radiologic technology and diagnostic medical sonography. While both celebrating its past and looking towards a promising future TUC is now seeking qualified candidates for the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. As a key leader within the university the Associate Dean will oversee several student focused areas of the Student Affairs Division including student health counseling services academic support accommodations and student events/activities along with several other critical functions and important student support services. As TUC looks towards its promising future it is searching for a visionary innovative and collaborative student affairs professional who will successfully work with university leaders to support retain and graduate the next generation of health care and education practice ready professionals.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Vice Provost and Dean of Student Affairs the Associate Dean for Student Affairs will oversee and will be responsible for the leadership management and development of the Office of Academic Services and Institutional Support Center (OASIS) Student Health Services Counseling Accommodations Student Activities Student Government and Student Promotions and Conduct. This position will also assist in creating evaluation metrics to assess and demonstrate program success.
