Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Acute Care

Location: Atlanta GA 30342
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Local Radius Rule: No Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates within 50 miles of the job location

Pay breakdown:

Hourly rate - $36.50 $7.50 taxable $29 non-taxable

Weekly Gross - $1460 $300 taxable $1160 stipend

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an acute care setting. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician in a hospital-based environment. This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role involves working with patients experiencing acute medical conditions and requires strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver direct patient care in compliance with nursing protocols
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patient condition
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist in medical procedures and patient interventions
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an acute care setting
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia or compact state
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
