We are seeking an experienced and polished Field Engineer based in the Miami FL area. This is a field-first client-facing engineering role with a strong emphasis on onsite technical support perfect for someone with a passion for service excellence and real-time customer impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite support and implementation of the client s software products for enterprise customers in the Miami region (80% onsite / 20% phone-based support).
- Troubleshoot technical issues install/configure software and ensure post-implementation satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients to assess needs and propose tailored solutions that maximize product effectiveness.
- Support the Sales team by influencing new business opportunities and renewals through exceptional technical service.
- Contribute to internal education and cross-functional strategy particularly in technical marketing customer retention solution engineering and support optimization.
Requirements
- Must currently reside within 90 miles of Miami FL
- 5 years experience in field engineering customer support or solutions engineering with strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Active Directory
- Azure
- Prior work or direct experience at one of the following is preferred:
- SolarWinds ManageEngine NAGIOS Paessler Splunk Quest Software AppDynamics NetIQ or Datadog
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills in enterprise environments
- US Work Authorization and valid US driver s license required
Benefits
- Base Salary: Up to $250000 based on experience and qualifications
- $500 bonus for each onsite visit lasting 2 hours
- $2000 clothing allowance

- $500 bonus for weekend on-call

A minimum of five years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, Azure, and field support. Previous employment with companies such as SolarWinds, ManageEngine, NAGIOS, Paessler, Splunk, Quest Software, AppDynamics, NetIQ, or Datadog is a plus! Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills to effectively speak with and support clients. Must be authorized to work in the US
