Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 40 paid hours per week/8 hours per day with 1-hour unpaid lunch break
  • Shifts are mostly 4pm-1am and 1pm-10pm EST including weekends.

Job/Company Overview:

As a Voicemail Agent you ll be responsible for relaying critical prescription information through clear and concise voice mail messages. Your contributions will directly impact the timely delivery of essential medications ultimately improving patient care and healthcare accessibility.


Responsibilities:
  • Receive notifications from the company s secure system with detailed prescription information and pharmacy contacts.
  • Promptly call pharmacies to communicate prescription details as per the company protocol.
    Leave well-articulated voice mail messages ensuring accuracy and clarity when conveying the provided prescription details.
  • Meticulously update task statuses in the company s system after successfully leaving voice mail messages.
  • Ensure all call logs and updates are recorded accurately for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable presence during scheduled shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage for this essential service.
  • Adapt to schedule changes and provide support during high-volume periods as needed.
  • Adhere to company standards for call handling and data confidentiality ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • Participate in regular quality checks and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address urgent or complex cases effectively.
  • Provide end-of-shift reports summarizing completed tasks and pending issues ensuring a smooth handoff to the next shift.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on company policies procedures and any changes in the prescription communication process.


Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills with the ability to leave clear and understandable voice mail messages (slight accents are acceptable)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in relaying prescription information
  • Commitment to assigned shifts and a reliable work ethic
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems for task management and updates
