Job Description

As a Python Microservices Architect you will:
  • Lead the architecture design and development of Python-based microservices using FastAPI Flask Poetry and Gunicorn.
  • Design and implement scalable secure and high-performance APIs and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Deploy manage and monitor services using Google Cloud Run App Engine and Cloud Build & Run.
  • Work with PostgreSQL Google Redis Firestore BigQuery and Pub/Sub to deliver scalable efficient data solutions.
  • Define best practices for CI/CD pipelines containerization and DevOps in GCP environments.
  • Troubleshoot application and database performance issues implement caching strategies and improve resiliency.
  • Mentor and guide development teams to ensure code quality and best practices across the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and deliver new features effectively.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in Python development with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
  • Deep expertise in FastAPI Flask Poetry and Gunicorn.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud PaaS: Cloud Run App Engine Cloud Build & Run.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL Google Redis Firestore and BigQuery.
  • Proven experience with Google Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security practices including OAuth JWT and IAM.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize and scale distributed applications for high performance.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Design robust secure and scalable microservices in a cloud-native architecture.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
  • Handle real-time data processing and asynchronous communication using event-driven patterns.
  • Implement logging monitoring and tracing for application observability.
  • Lead by example in setting and maintaining engineering best practices.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively with team members and stakeholders.
