Develop and implement product quality plans inspection criteria and test methods for electronic components and assemblies.
Collaborate with design R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into product development and production processes.
Monitor and analyze product performance data and failure rates to detect and resolve quality issues.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for customer complaints and internal quality concerns.
Conduct incoming material inspections and vendor audits to ensure supplier quality compliance.
Create and maintain quality documentation including FMEA control plans PPAP and process validation reports.
Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001 ISO 13485 IATF 16949 or similar).
Work closely with production and test engineering teams to define test procedures and ensure proper calibration of quality tools and instruments.
Train manufacturing staff on quality control processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Drive continuous improvement using methodologies such as Six Sigma Lean and 8D problem solving.
Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3 years of hands-on experience in product quality engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry.
In-depth understanding of electronic components circuit testing and failure analysis.
Proficient in quality tools like FMEA 8D Root Cause Analysis Fishbone Diagram and Control Charts.
Familiar with IPC standards and ESD guidelines.
Experience with quality systems and certifications (ISO 9001 ISO 13485 IATF 16949 etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of statistical tools (Minitab SPC etc.).
Excellent communication documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
