Avec le soutien du gouvernement du Canada cette initiative novatrice vise am liorer la qualit de vie des citoyens renforcer les liens entre les communaut s et stimuler la croissance conomique.

Alto - TGV recherche un(e) Directeur(trice) thique et conformit . Cette personne joue un r le crucial en veillant ce quune organisation adh re toutes les lois r glementations et politiques internes pertinentes les r glementations et les politiques internes. La personne titulaire du poste d veloppe dirige et promeut la fonction globale d thique et de conformit de lorganisation. Ce r le est essentiel pour garantir que lorganisation respecte les normes juridiques et les politiques internes en encourageant une culture dint grit et de comportement thique.

Le ou la Directeur(trice) thique et conformit sera galement responsable de la gestion et du d veloppement dune quipe comprenant un(e) Conseiller( re) juridique thique et conformit et un(e) analyste ATIP.


PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIT S
  • D veloppement de programmes : Concevoir et laborer des programmes visant valuer et g rer les risques li s la conformit juridique et r glementaire. Superviser l laboration et la mise en uvre dun programme de conformit et d thique couvrant entre autres la protection de la vie priv e lacc s linformation les conflits dint r ts et la lutte contre les pots-de-vin et la corruption.
  • Gestion des politiques : Veiller ce que les politiques refl tent les exigences l gales et r glementaires ainsi que les politiques directives normes et lignes directrices du Conseil du Tr sor applicables aux soci t s d tat.
  • Gestion des risques : Identifier les domaines potentiels de vuln rabilit et de risque en mati re de conformit et laborer des plans daction correctifs.
  • Formation et communication : Communiquer le programme de conformit et d thique de lorganisation et former les employ s sur des sujets tels que la protection de la vie priv e lacc s linformation les conflits dint r ts la lutte contre les pots-de-vin la corruption et lantitrust.
  • Mises jour r glementaires : Rester inform des modifications apport es aux lois et r glementations qui affectent les activit s de lorganisation et mettre jour les politiques en cons quence.
  • Rapports : Pr parer et pr senter des rapports la direction g n rale et aux organismes de r glementation externes le cas ch ant.
  • Enqu tes : R agir aux violations pr sum es des r gles r glements politiques et proc dures en lan ant des proc dures denqu te.
  • R le consultatif : Conseiller la direction sur les implications juridiques des nouveaux projets et initiatives.

EXIGENCES
  • Baccalaur at en droit et membre enregistr du Barreau du Qu bec et/ou de lAssociation du Barreau de lOntario.
  • Minimum de 10 ans dexp rience dans le domaine de la conformit du droit ou de la r glementation dont au moins 5 ans un poste de direction.
  • Forte compr hension des lois et r glements en mati re de conformit excellentes capacit s danalyse et de r solution de probl mes et aptitude communiquer efficacement avec tous les niveaux de lorganisation.
  • Capacit g rer des informations confidentielles avec int grit .

CLIENT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client Alto is actively contributing to the transformation of Canadas future with its high-speed train project connecting Quebec City and Toronto. With the support of the Government of Canada this innovative project aims to improve the quality of life of citizens strengthen ties between communities and stimulate economic growth.

The Director Ethics and Compliance develops directs and promotes the organizations global ethics and compliance function. The person plays a crucial role in ensuring that an organization adheres to all relevant laws regulations and internal policies. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization adheres to legal standards and in-house policies fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior. The Director Ethics and Compliance will also be responsible for managing and developing a team including a Legal counsel ethics and compliance and an Analyst ATIP.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program Development: Design and develop programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks. Oversee the development and implementation of a compliance and ethics program covering among other areas privacy access to information conflicts of interest and the fight against bribery and corruption.
  • Policy Management: Ensure that policies reflect legal and regulatory requirements and Treasury Board policies directives standards and guidelines applicable to Crown corporations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop corrective action plans.
  • Training and Communication: Communicate the organization s compliance and ethics program and deliver employee training on topics such as privacy access to information conflicts of interest anti-bribery anti-corruption and antitrust.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that affect the organization s operations and update policies accordingly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management and external regulatory bodies as required.
  • Investigations: Respond to alleged violations of rules regulations policies and procedures by initiating investigative procedures.
  • Advisory Role: Advise management on the legal implications of new projects and initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s degree in law and registered member of the Barreau du Qu bec and/or of the Ontario Bar Association.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance legal or regulatory roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of compliance laws and regulations excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
