Job Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP HCM Consultant with a passion for HR technologies and German payroll compliance.

The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the configuration implementation and support of the SAP HCM Payroll module ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across the organization.

As an HR IT Consultant Operations EMEA you will:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP HCM Payroll with a focus on German legal requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the HR department to advise on and optimize the end-to-end payroll process
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal corporate policies particularly in the context of audits and internal controls
  • Perform unit and integration tests to ensure seamless system operation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and operational processes
  • Monitor and evaluate technological advancements within the area of responsibility offering proactive guidance and recommendations to optimize HR and payroll systems
  • Contribute as owner of specific work packages in various projects involving reorganizations mergers carve-outs and acquisitions by conducting fit-gap analyses providing strategic consulting and developing solution concepts

Qualifications :

  • Academic Degree in Technology or Business Administration or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in a project or consulting environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP HCM module including customizing schemas and rules particularly in the area of Payroll (PY) and Time Management (PT) 
  • Professional knowledge of business processes
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP/4 
  • Business fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Willingness to travel (10%)
