Job Description
- Build test and maintain robust scalable secure highly available data pipelines that store clean transform and aggregate data.
- Design and develop data flow using AWS cloud analytics tools.
- Participate in all phases of the Enterprise Data platform development life cycle as appropriate; including but not limited to gathering customer requirements defining technical requirements creating high level architecture diagrams data validation etc.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to deliver impactful insights into customer acquisition operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
- Ensure data quality accuracy and completeness by implementing data validation monitoring and error handling methods.
- Improve automation and simplifying data as a service.
- Position includes option to telecommute from any location within the U.S.
Qualifications :
This position requires a bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering Computer Science or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the position offered or eight (8) years of experience as a Systems Analyst Systems Engineer IT Analyst or a related occupation.
Requires four (4) years of experience with: analysis of business/system requirements; AWS related technologies including: S3 Glue Redshift and Apache Spark; creating pipeline and framework for the data ingestion and data storage using Informatica Talend and Databricks; and Data modelling including data mart or data warehouse solutions.
Requires three (3) years of experience with: designing star/snowflake data model; and developing and deploying reports using PowerBI or Tableau to meet the analytical needs of the business department(s). Must pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment.
