Key duties as an Application Support Engineer include:
- handling support requests for internal business users problem-solving and troubleshooting
- database querying and configuration
- contribute to the development of business reporting
- work on improvements to systems specifically focusing sales tools customer facing applications (Eurofins OnLine)
- collaborating with external teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
To succeed in this role you should have:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position - preferred experience with web applications
- experience with Microsoft SQL queries and scripting is essential
- excellent communication skills to effectively discuss business problems and issues
- strong problem-solving abilities
- a passion for technology
- strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The role demands extensive research predominantly in English and the ability to formulate questions and responses from scratch. Successfully collaborates with multiple teams to find effective solutions.
Beneficial skills include:
- experience with Apache MQ
- familiarity with BI platforms such as Qlikview or Power BI
- experience with Visual Basic development would also be a plus
- experience with Azure Devops.
