Job Description
Wanderlust Bar & Kitchen is a stylish welcoming venue at the heart of the ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport hotel. Were looking for a dedicated Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead our food and drink offering across multiple spaces ensuring every guest enjoys memorable experience. In return we offer a salary of up to 30000 p.a. plus benefits for this full time (40 hours per week) role.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Overseeing daily service across the bar restaurant lounge grab-and-go and in-lobby dining areas
- Leading and motivating a team to deliver warm confident and consistent service
- Being a visible and supportive presence on the floor engaging with guests and guiding the team
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to develop specials and drinks that reflect our brand
- Managing stock rotas and costs to meet revenue and profit targets while maintaining high standards
- Ensuring compliance with all health safety and licensing regulations
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant or Bar Manager in a hotel lifestyle or quality hospitality venue
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a guest-first approach
- A passion for creative food and beverage with an understanding of current trends
- Commercial awareness including experience with P&L budgeting and driving spend per guest
- Excellent communication skills a positive attitude and a solutions-focused mindset
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and peak periods

ibis Styles Gatwick Airport hotel has over 180 bedrooms and welcomes international guests business travellers families and people heading off on holiday so it is a bustling and vibrant hotel. Youll be key to ensuring that they enjoy a great dining experience during their visit and will want to come back again soon! As youll be serving alcohol we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.
