Job Description

We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician who would be responsible for the day-to-day support maintenance and troubleshooting of Windings end-user technology and devices. This role involves working closely with internal IT staff and external vendors to deliver efficient technical support and training for Windings employees. As the primary first point of contact for the helpdesk this position ensures that all hardware and software issues are resolved promptly and effectively.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot personal computer hardware ensuring devices are operational and secure.
  • Collaborate with outsourced IT service providers to resolve complex issues and assist in system performance investigations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems recommending improvements to prevent recurring issues.
  • Provide end-user support for hardware software and Microsoft Windows applications ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Install configure and update computer hardware and software as needed.
  • Provide training for employees on the use of hardware software and company-specific systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies taking part in continuing education to support new hardware and software tools.
  • Administer and maintain mobile device management (MDM) systems to ensure device security and compliance.
  • Administer the companys VoIP phone system ensuring uptime performance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage software licensing track renewals and maintain related documentation.
  • Create and maintain clear accurate documentation for all service tickets training materials and troubleshooting steps.
  • Install maintain and troubleshoot printers and other peripherals.
  • Monitor endpoint performance and collaborate with the IT team to resolve issues.
  • Create and delete user accounts and badges as needed.
  • Administer engineering software including installation upgrades and user troubleshooting.
  • Provide server and client support ensuring timely updates and system performance.
Requirements

What you will need:

Education:

  • Associate Degree in Computer & Networking Technology or equivalent OR 3 years of relevant experience

Experience:

  • Previous experience in helpdesk support providing customer service and technical assistance to end-users.
  • Proficiency in computer installation maintenance repair and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with software installation troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to create clear documentation for service tickets and training materials.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite/365.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking principles.
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools.
  • Familiarity with VoIP systems and phone server administration.
  • A or Network certification (or equivalent) is preferred.

Salary Description:

$24.00 - $31.00 per hour DOQ

We are committed to providing pay ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience qualifications location and internal equity considerations. The listed pay range is provided in good faith and is subject to adjustments in accordance with company policies and market conditions.

This position is eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program based on company performance goals. Bonus payouts are not guaranteed and are determined at the companys discretion.
