Job Description

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Shelburn or Rushville IN facility (2 openings).

**Relocation welcomed and packages available**

Note: You must have prior experience working in a grain elevator terminal or agricultural facility. If you do not meet this requirement please do not schedule a call as it will be canceled.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day operations at the grain facility in support of the Superintendent and Location Manager
  • Monitor inventory levels and help ensure compliance with company control standards
  • Assist in cost control efforts and operational planning
  • Coordinate grain conditioning space utilization and mix/blend opportunities
  • Help implement and schedule preventative maintenance in compliance with OSHA grain handling standards
  • Support employee development and manage workflow to maintain productivity
  • Promote energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure asset protection and site security measures are followed
  • Supervise contractors temps and other onsite workers
  • Maintain compliance with all safety environmental and operational regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs
  • Recommend improvements to processes and operations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a grain elevator or terminal (required)
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical operational and safety procedures
  • Farming background is a plus
  • Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs work outdoors in varying weather and operate in noisy environments
