Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Optometrist looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and thriving community We are excited to announce a full-time Optometrist position at this established federally qualified community health center in Summersville WV. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to see 2-3 patients per hour allowing you to provide quality care in a welcoming environment. We seek a team player who is committed to making a positive impact on our rural community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye exams to assess vision and diagnose conditions related to the eye.
- Prescribe corrective lenses medications and treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide patient education on eye health contact lens usage and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining
- Valid CPR certificate
