Porsche Austin is Hiring for a Parts Manager!Porsche Austin is a Premier Porsche Center and for the last 4 years ranked in the top 10 out of 204 Porsche Dealers. Supervisory Responsibilities Parts Department of 8 employees 3 counter people 1 warehouse person 1 wholesale person 1 delivery driver 2 parts runners.

Duties/Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
  • Hires trains motivates counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Provide an exceptional modern luxury customer experience.
  • Maintains reporting systems required by General Management and the Factory.
  • Attends manager meetings.
  • Hold monthly parts meetings.
  • The Parts Manager will report directly to the Fixed Operations Director.
  • Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports tracking systems and surveys.
  • Monitors customer appointments and workflow.
  • Review the Parts Warranty processes and performance.
  • Review Customer Experience performance and indicators.
  • Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
  • Develops and implements a marketing plan which promotes new and repeat business.
  • Maintains safe work environment.
  • Manage the online Parts Store and the Parts Boutique.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Perform monthly Parts counterperson reviews
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Working knowledge and experience of automotive parts repairs and documentation.
  • Possess mechanical and auto parts knowledge.
  • Manager experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Punctual reliable and must have good communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
