This is a full time 40 hour a week position.
THE POSITION:
The MSPCA is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced community organizer non-profit program development and/or animal welfare applicant to join our organization as a Community Outreach Manager. The primary responsibilities of the Community Outreach Manager areestablishing and expanding the reach of animal care services resources and information in Springfield Massachusetts. The Manager will work to connect pet owners to affordable services such as veterinary care pet food and supplies. Collaboration is the key to success in this position. Building relationships within the Springfield community with other animal organizations community groups and community leaders is a vital part of this position.
Additional responsibilities include:
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have at least 2 years of animal handling experience 1 year of experience in a supervisory role and 1 year of customer service non-profit or social work experience. Applicants should also have a valid drivers license. Applicants proficient in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply as there is a large Spanish speaking population in Springfield.
