Job Description
CAD Designer
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify site plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or MicroStation Geopak.
- Design grading drainage stormwater management and utilities.
- Incorporate survey data and assist in permitting documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct quality checks and maintain project documentation.
Requirements:
- 4 to 5 years of civil engineering experience.
- Background in grading drainage stormwater management and utility design.
- Proven experience working on commercial site development projects.
- Proficiency in CADD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- MicroStation Geopak design experience is a plus.
- Corridor modeling experience is a plus.
- Experience working on NCDOT projects is ideal.
