Job Description
Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry
Minimum requirements include a DDS DMD or equivalent dental degree and completion of a CODA accredited advanced training program in pediatric dentistry with board certification/board eligible/candidacy status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
The University of Florida College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida the nation and worldwide through excellence in teaching research patient care and service.
Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching of dental students and pediatric dental residents participation in research/scholarly activity and intramural clinical practice. Minimum requirements include a DDS DMD or equivalent dental degree and completion of a CODA accredited advanced training program in pediatric dentistry with board certification/board eligible/candidacy status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Previous teaching experience treatment of patients under sedation and general anesthesia and involvement in research/scholarly activities is preferred.

The UF Health Science Center and its six colleges (Dentistry Medicine Nursing Pharmacy Public Health and Health Professions Veterinary Medicine) are co-located on the Gainesville campus with additional teaching research and patient care sites throughout Florida and beyond.
Salary and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience

Previous teaching experience treatment of patients under sedation and general anesthesia and involvement in research/scholarly activities is preferred.
